Dear Devotees,
This message has two announcements from the
temple.
1. Ganesh Festival –
We need a sponsor for the 1st Sunday Puja in
September. If you would like to host the 1st Sunday Puja in September,
please contact Sunit Patke (517) 349-5576 or our
priests.
The 10 day Ganapati festival will be
celebrated with traditional fervor from September
3rd through 14th at the temple. Various events are being organized for
this very important festival in our calendar. A separate announcement with all
the details will go out as soon as the entire program is finalized. A sign-up
sheet to sponsor Puja for the 10 days will be available at the temple.

2. Smruti
Shah has joined the Bharatiya Temple of Lansing as board member and treasurer
for the remainder of 2008. Please welcome her.
Please note that Temple will get the occupancy permit by August end and
devotees should be very careful not to enter the project areas. Prior to
occupancy permit, temple events will be hosted in the existing hall and lobby
only.
