Dear Devotees,

This message has several announcements from the Bharatiya Temple of Lansing, including a list of events that will be observed at the temple this week. You are cordially invited to attend all these events.

1) Ramcharitmanas reading from Friday March 27 through Friday April 3. Devotees wishing to participate in the reading should contact Sharmaji or Shastriji at (517)339-6337. Details at: http://lansingtemple.org/misc/Rama2009.pdf.

2) Ugadi (New Year) Puja on Friday March 27, from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.

Ugadi is the New Year according to the lunar calendar and is celebrated in several parts of India including Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra.

3) "Chaitri Navaratri" Garba on Friday March 27 from 8 PM To 9 PM.

4) Youth Puja and Recognition of High School Graduates on Sunday, March 29, from 11 AM.

The function is being organized by the Temple Youth Group. The program is follows:
11.00 - 11.15  Saraswati and Ganesh Puja
11.15 - 12.30 Cultural Program.
12.30 - 1.30  Lunch
