Dear Devotees,
Please review the letter from the Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Temple,
Manohar Naga, posted at:

It is an appeal
for your generous donations for temple operation. There are several ways
for donating.
1. If you are interested in making a regular
donation per month, please contact our treasurer, Smruti Shah
(517-347-1209, e-mail: shahsmruti@yahoo.com)
to set up an auto transfer transaction from your banking account to the
temple's account.
2. In order to make it easier for devotees to donate to the temple, a
PayPal account has been set up for the temple. You do not have to write
and mail cheques anymore. There is a link from the temple's home page ( http://lansingtemple.org/) which
will take you to the PayPal donation page. You can also click on the following

Transactions using PayPal are very secure.
It is NOT required for you to have a Paypal account in order to donate
via debit/credit card to the temple, although it would be easier if you are
already registered with Paypal. Please let us know if you have any
questions or concerns.
A spring concert by a very promising
artist, Anand Bhate,
is planned for April 25th (Saturday) at 4:30 PM.
This is a fundraising event for the temple with
tickets priced at $ 25.00 each. Anand Bhate is one of the most
promising artistes in the new generation of the great Kirana tradition.
He started his musical journey in early childhood and continued to present
different aspects, such as Hindustani Classical Music, Marathi Natyasangeet,
and devotional compositions. Afterwards, for more than 15 years now, he has
been a disciple of the great classical vocalist, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, doyen of
the Kirana gharana and a living legend. He has performed at the Sawai
Gandharva Music Festival at Pune in 2002, 2005 and 2007. Please note the
following schedule for the concert.
Schedule:
Seating starts - 4:30 PM
First Half of Concert starts - 5:00 PM
Break - 6:00 PM – 6:15 PM
Second Half of Concert - 6:15 PM – 7:15 PM
Reception - 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM
