This message has three announcements
from the Bharatiya Temple of Lansing.
1. Mahakumbhabhishekam, June 9-13, 2010:
Our temple will be
celebrating Maha Kumbhabhisekam from June 9th to June 13th, a once-in-a-life time
event for our mid-Michigan community. The organizing committee is working
very diligently to make it a success. Please review attached poster posted
at http://lansingtemple.org/misc/kumbha-poster.pdf
and donate your volunteer hours and
funds to help the temple. You can also use the PAYPAL ( http://lansingtemple.org/misc/paypal-donation.html)
to donate electronically.
2. Lunch policy:
Our temple has constructed a fully functional kitchen as part of
the completion project. Since M arch 2010, we have started serving Sunday
lunches to devotees with a charge to help with temple revenues. Please refer to
the policy posted at http://lansingtemple.org/misc/BTL-Lunch-Policy-04-21-2010.pdf
for sponsoring the Sunday lunches.
3. Mahavir Jayanti
celebration as First Sunday Puja on May 2 at 11:30 AM:
Please join us in celebrating Mahavir Jayanti
on May 2nd as First Sunday Puja. The
puja will be hosted by the Jain families of Greater
Lansing. It will start at 11.30 AM and end at 1 PM with lunch.
