This message has reminders of three upcoming
events at the Bharatiya Temple of Lansing.
1.
Instrumental
Concert on Saturday June 6 at 4:30 PM:
An instrumental concert by Dr. Krishnaveni Nishtala
on Veena and Mrs. Anupama Bhagwat on Sitar is planned for June 6th (Saturday) at 4:30 PM. This is a
fundraising event for the temple with tickets priced at $25.00 each. The
two artists will perform a "jugalbandi"
accompanied by Hemant Babtiwale on tabla and Raja Sekhar Atmakuri
on mridangam. Details are posted at

3. Request regarding SETU Celebration on June 28:
Donations of Indian
handicrafts and music for SETU Bazaar are requested, but NO CLOTHES. The donations can be forwarded to Mrs. Lakshmy Gopal (

and group. Donors can coordinate drop
off with her or leave items with the priests.
