This message has announcements of four upcoming
events at the Bharatiya Temple of Lansing
-- two reminders and two new announcements.
1
. Reminder: Round
2 of Temple Cleanup on Saturday September 12, 9 AM to 1 PM:
We will clean up
the inside of the Temple. Everyone willing to help are
invited to come and help. Please bring gloves and any special cleaning
equipment you may have that will help.

. Reminder:
Monthly 2nd Sunday Birthday/Anniversary Havan on
September 13 at 11 AM:
Please join us for
September’s birthday/anniversary havan
on Sunday 13th at 11 am. Sponsors are requested to be at the
Temple by 10.45 AM so that the Havan can start
promptly and program can be done by 12.30pm.

. Youth/Hindi
Group Meeting on Sunday September 13 at 11 AM:
The meeting will take place in the Temple basement. All interested
youth (6th through 12th grades) and parents are invited to attend. Plans for
the coming year will be discussed. Plans will include mainly teen
activities/events and related discussions. Coordinators will be available a
little before the meeting and after the meeting for any additional questions.

. Guest priest
to perform Rudrabhishekam on Monday September 14 at 7
PM:
The weekly Rudrabhishekam next Monday, September 14, will be performed at the usual
time (7 PM to about 8:20 PM) by guest priest
Sri Kumar Naganathan Sivachariyar.
He is from the Sri Murugan Temple in Lanham, Maryland
and he is visiting Grand Rapids for a few days. All devotees are invited to
attend.
