This message has three announcements from the Bharatiya Temple of Lansing.

1) Skanda Shashti 6-day Festival: Grand Finale on October 23:

The grand finale of the 6-day Skanda Shashti Festival now underway at the Temple will be at 6 PM on Friday October 23.  Everyone is invited to the celebration. If you wish to sponsor any of the events (Abhishekam, Vivaham, Sahasranamam, Kavadi), please contact Mathi Ramachandran at 517-324-5424, e-mail: mathi_22201@yahoo.com. To help with food preparations, please call Priya Mathi at the same phone number.

2) Fourth Sunday Program on Sunday October 24 at 11:30 AM:

A Fourth Sunday Puja featuring Vishnu Sahasranama recitation has been a monthly activity at our temple since July 2009.The puja begins with a short prayer to Lord Ganesha at 11:30 AM, followed by the chanting of Vishnu Sahasranama and singing of bhajans, and ends with Aarati. You are invited to attend.

3) We are looking for household items and a suitable car for guest priest Srihari Kadambi (Panditji) to use during his 6-week stay with us. He will be arriving tomorrow. If you can spare a car for 6 weeks, or can donate household items, please contact Mr. Chandu Patel at 517-332-7709. Thank you.
