Chair's Message
Dear Devotees,
On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I am honored to take this opportunity to
wish you a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year. Year 2010 was an eventful
one for our temple, with the Maha Kumbhabhishekam
celebration during the month of June and many other very successful events and
festivals throughout the year with your participation.
As the Board of Trustees meet to plan out the events and activities for the
year 2011, our primary goal is to serve the religious needs of our community in
the best possible way. The Board of Trustees will work very hard to create
positivity and bring harmony in the community. We would appreciate your
involvement and help for the following:
1. Our 2011 budget is approximately $ 225,000 which will primarily be
raised by your donations. Please help us meet our financial needs by donating
generously.
2. Temple events are successful because of volunteers. We humbly request
you to volunteer for at least one event of your choice by registering yourself.
It will encourage us to plan and expand the number of activities at the temple.
3.
During the General Body
meeting last month, a priest management committee was formed to address priest
issues. Hopefully, we will have resolved all issues, ensuring a positive
environment at the temple.
