July
11, 2008
Dear Devotees,
As you must be aware, we will celebrate the 10th
anniversary of our Temple on 19th July. During this event, we plan to
hold a sale of Indian handicraft items
donated by members of the community. We are looking for Indian arts and craft
items that you do not need any more but are in good condition. If you have such
items, please consider donating them to the Temple.
The items can include:
Flower vases, brass lamps, paintings, statues, wall
hangings, fashion jewelry, accessories, jewelry box, mehendi tattoos,
children's Indian clothes (if in almost new condition), Indian books (including
cookery books), etc.
The items may be brought to the Temple and left in the Coat & Shoe
room, or handed to one of the priests for passing them on to Ashim Aggarwal or
Mrs. Lakshmy Gopal. The donors are requested to leave a slip with approximate
purchase price (in rupees or dollars), along with their name, phone number and
email address with the items so that items that remain unsold can be returned
to the donors. The items will be donated to the Temple and the proceeds will go
to the Temple.
If you plan to donate, please bring the items by July
18 so that they can be prepared for sale. We request that you please
make the items presentable (dust removed, etc.) so that they can be sold.
Sincerely,
Bharatiya
