Dear Devotees,

We have recently become aware of changes to the Meijer Community Rewards program. We thank the devotees who continue to participate in the program and urge others to join the program. Information about the program, change to Temple's organization code, and enrollment procedures are provided below. This information is also posted at: http://lansingtemple.org/meijer.html.

For the past several years, our Temple has been enrolled in the Meijer Community Rewards program. This program earns cash rewards for our Temple every time you shop at any Meijer store. Every time you pay for your purchases at Meijer with cash or other means, if you swipe your freely-available Meijer 1 Card at the checkout counter, a certain percentage of your purchases (0.5% for cash purchases) will go to the Temple. You do not need to use a Meijer Credit Card to earn rewards; swiping your Meijer 1 card at the time of purchase is all that is required. The more the number of devotees enrolled in the program and the larger the overall purchase volume, the more cash rewards the Temple earns. This is a way to donate without donating!

Meijer has recently changed the organization code for our Temple, and therefore those of you with

Meijer 1 Cards need to re-register. And for those of you who do not have a Meijer 1 Card, this is

a good opportunity to register.

As the on-line enrollment procedure is confusing, we suggest the following ways to register or

re-register:

Those with Meijer 1 Card: Please call 1-800-962-7011, ask to be connected to Community Rewards, give them your 12-digit Meijer 1 card number, and explain that the organization code for the organization you wish your rewards to go to (namely, our Temple) has changed. The new code is 420 083.

Those without a Meijer 1 Card can obtain it in one of two ways: (a) Call 1-800-962-7011,

ask to be connected to Community Rewards, explain that you want to apply for a Meijer 1 Card

and that you want your cash rewards to go to the organization with code 420 083 (namely,

our Temple). You will be asked for some basic information about yourself (name, address,

e-mail, phone number). The Meijer 1 Card will be mailed to you in approximately 2 to 3 weeks.

(b) Pick up a paper application at your local Meijer store's customer service counter, fill

the portion dealing with Meijer 1 Card, and submit it at the counter or mail it to the address

given.

We appeal to each of you to enroll today in the Meijer Community Rewards program on behalf

of our Temple. The key to the success of this program is in your hands. Act now for the benefit

of our Temple. Thank you.
