2) Bhaja Govindam Retreat on August 29-30, 2008
There will be spiritual retreat on Adi
Sankaracharya's Bhaja Govindam conducted by Dr. C. Adinarayana Reddy on August
29-30 (evening session on the 29th and all day on the 30th). The
schedule and other details are posted at:

Bhaja Govindam, one of Acharya Sankara's minor compositions, is
very popular and is profound in its message in that it contains the essence of
Vedanta. The Retreat will be conducted by our
community's Dr. C.A. Reddy, who is a Professor at Michigan State
University and has been teaching a Bhagavad Gita class at the Temple for more
than three years and has presented spiritual retreats and lectures in various
settings both in the U.S. and in India.
There is no fee for the retreat but generous donations to the Temple from
attendees would be appreciated. It is hoped that many of you will take
advantage of this opportunity and be benefited by a better understanding of the
great composition, Bhaja Govindam.
Sincerely,
Bharatiya
