Dear Devotees,
On Saturday June 7, there will be a Yoga Retreat from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Bharatiya
Temple of Lansing conducted by Shri N.V. Raghuram,
the International Coordinator and Senior Yoga
Instructor at Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Univerisy
(VYASA) in Bangalore, India. The Retreat will include a series of three
talks on Bhakti Yoga as a path of yoga and two sessions of yoga practices: one
on Pranayama and the other on Yogasana with Deep Relaxation Technique. The
Retreat will start promptly at 9 AM. There will be breaks at the discretion of
Shri Raghuram.
Shri Raghuram has been a practioner of yoga for more than 30 years. He trains
certified yoga instructors and yoga therapy instructors and guides Ph.D
students in their research. He conducts effective treatment workshops on
managing and curing various ailments such as rheumatism, arthritis, blood
pressure, etc. He is currently associated with a research project at a
major hospital in Germany.
The Retreat is free and open for all but voluntary contributions
to the Temple are welcome.
